Antonis Antoniou

Eight months after the release of his critically-acclaimed second solo album Throisma, Cypriot sound artist, composer and producer Antonis Antoniou embarks on a compelling and surprising new project. He invites some of the world’s finest DJs/producers to propose an alternative reading of six of the album’s original pieces, expanding the creative possibilities and bringing new life to Throisma – an entrancing, vibrant life, abounding in deep grooves and intoxicating textures. The EP Throisma Remixed is a reimagined musical painting, which gains its multicoloured form and quality through the distinctive and visionary input of Brazilian producer Maga Bo, New York’s celebrated DJ/producer and label owner Nickodemus, Catalan wizard and co-founder of the legendary band Ojos De Brujo DJ Panko, and the British/Mauritian esteemed and multitalented brothers Reginald Omas Mamode IV and Mo Kolours. The sixth remix is done by Antoniou himself.
